Joe ScaparraFinancial Advisor — Chapter Director 5524 Bee Caves Road, Suite D1 View Professional Biography of Joe Scaparra… Joe Scaparra is Co-Director of the Austin Chapter of the Foundation for Personal Financial Education, which is a 501(c) (3) non-profit educational organization consisting of various financial professionals. This non-profit group includes, attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and other financial service professionals who conduct educational workshops on an ongoing basis, covering important financial topics like retirement planning, financial management, estate planning, and asset allocation. The Foundation for Personal Financial Education (FPFE) conducts hundreds of workshops each year for companies, organizations, governmental institutions, and associations. Joe is a member of the Financial Planning Association Austin, TX chapter and holds a Masters of Science with Troy State University in Business Management. He is a frequent seminar leader and lecturer. Joe specializes in working with retirees and those about to retire. He addresses their financial concerns using special tax planning techniques and innovative estate planning strategies. He is an independent financial advisor and registered securities representative. Joe has a unique background, after graduating from Texas A&M University, he served 20 years in the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot. Joe served his country with distinction as an instructor pilot in the A-10 and T-38 aircraft. He began his financial advisor career with Wells Fargo Private Client Services and has served as a financial advisor since 1997. Joe is in the business of helping clients meet all their financial challenges. He does this by using a total wealth management approach. Each area is important individually, but managing them all collectively is one of the most important considerations in their overall financial success. |

Dennis SneadFinancial Advisor — Chapter Director 5524 Bee Caves Road, Suite D1 View Professional Biography of Dennis Snead… Dennis Snead is a Director of the Austin Chapter of the Foundation for Personal Financial Education, which is a 501(c) (3) non-profit educational organization consisting of various financial professionals. The Attorneys, Accountants, Financial Advisors, and other financial service professionals of this non-profit group conduct educational workshops on an ongoing basis, covering important financial topics like retirement planning, financial management, estate planning, and asset allocation. The Foundation for Personal Financial Education (FPFE) conducts hundreds of workshops each year for companies, organizations, governmental institutions, and associations. Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He enjoyed a long career with the IBM Corporation before turning his passion for investing into a second career in the financial services industry. He is currently an independent financial advisor and registered securities representative. Dennis specializes in retirement planning and has earned the designation of Certified Retirement Counselor. Dennis believes that people often tend to neglect their financial planning for various reasons, including dealing with the pressures of daily life, having too much or too little financial information, and/or having a lack of confidence in applying the information in their own lives. The resulting lack of planning for themselves and their families may put their financial security at risk. Dennis enjoys working with individuals and families to help them identify their goals and get themselves on track toward a brighter financial future. Dennis is also on the Board of Directors of the Launch Pad Job Club, an Austin-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aids and supports local job seekers. |
