Ron Palastro is the Director of the Metro New York Chapter for the Foundation for Personal Financial Education.

Ron is President and CEO of R.S. Palastro Financial Planning Services, Inc. The firm’s mission is to help people make smart financial decisions.

During the last 24 years, Ron’s organization has provided individuals and businesses with superior service in the areas of investing, risk management, estate planning, retirement planning, employee benefits programs, business continuation plans, charitable planning, college planning, special needs situations, as well as advice on a myriad of related matters.

Ron has earned his Chartered Financial Consultant designation through the American College in 1992. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ certificant from the Certified Financial Planning Board of Standards since 2000. Ron became a Chartered Life Underwriter on November 1, 2004.

Ron often shares his expertise on retirement planning, investment management and estate planning, for various organizations and associations. These have included being a guest speaker at Columbia University for the AARP’s Financial Freedom Tour and at NYU’s Law School for the Financial Fitness Workshop co-sponsored by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine.

Ron is married to Angela with 2 children, Dominic and John. He enjoys outdoor activities including running and biking.
